Will a fiberglass swimming pool discolour?
A fiberglass swimming pool will stand the test of time. They are UV treated & require less maintenance than a concrete pool. Maintain your pool as per the warranty specifications set by Barrier Reef Pools.
Will a fiberglass pool crack?
Fiberglass pools are constructed from one piece of 100% fibreglass shell & will flex without cracking which will accommodate earth movement.
Can I empty a fiberglass swimming pool?
Your fiberglass swimming pool should never be emptied. If it does need to be emptied, consult the installer (Barrier Reef Agent) first for advice for warranty reasons.
Will a fiberglass swimming pool lift out of the ground?
All fiberglass pools are fitted with a Hydrostatic valve in the floor to balance the outside pressure against the inside pressure of the pool. This prevents the pool from lifting. If the pool is installed to Barrier Reef Pools requirements (as set out in the install manual & video) then it would be very uncommon.
How long will a fiberglass swimming pool last?
The swimming pools come with a 25 year structural warranty. The colour warranty varies: The Indigo Blue carries a 5 year internal warranty while the shimmer colours come with an 8 year warranty.
